Fire Force is one of the most beloved anime series that’s currently airing right now, and it’s easy to see why. The show follows Shinra Kusakabe, a young recruit in the Fire Force who aims to fight against those infected by spontaneous human combustion.
As with any anime series out there, not much has been revealed about Fire Force Season 3 at the moment – however, we do have an idea of when it will be released…so here’s everything you need to know!
When Will Fire Force Season 3 Release?
According to some reports, the third season of Fire Force won’t be airing for another year or so: it could be arriving as early as April. However, there haven’t been too many rumors pointing to the same month so that it may be arriving later in 2020.
Who is in the Fire Force Season 3 cast?
As with the previous two seasons, expect BONES to bring back several voice actors from their extensive list – including Gakuto Kajiwara as Shinra and Derick Snow as Albert. The studio has also brought in a fresh new cast, including Makoto Furukawa as Ogun Montgomery and Kentaro Ito as Scop.
After being left on a massive cliffhanger at the end of Fire Force Season 2, fans are very excited to find out what happens next! Many expect this season to explore Maki’s backstory further, but we’ll have to wait and see…
Season 3 of Fire Force will be interesting to see.
Fire Force is one anime that continues to be a fan-favorite in the West, and we can expect it to continue that trend when Season 3 hits. Once again, BONES will be bringing their A-game to make sure that this is a top-quality season of one of the most popular anime series out there right now – so keep your eyes peeled!
What’s the plot for Fire Force Season 3?
“Fire Force” Season 3 has no official narrative information at this time. The anime has stayed relatively faithful to the manga; thus, we can probably anticipate what Season 3 will have in store for Shinra. The anime’s first season covered volumes 1 through 10, with 11 to some of 11 in the manga. The second season continued and concluded with all of volume 20 and part of volume 21. If the manga has genuinely reached its conclusion in terms of plot, Season 3 might adapt volumes 20 and beyond to their fullest potential unless the anime series resorts to filler material like “Naruto” or “Bleach.”
The Season 2 finale appeared to suggest that the rivalry between Company 8 and the Evangelists would get even more fierce in the future. Shinra wanted to become stronger to defend the Company’s increasingly threatening foes, and he was pushed in his training to achieve a new level called “The Press Of Death.” Meanwhile, the season finale dealt a devastating blow to the heroes, owing to the assassination of Company 4’s Captain Hague. However, thanks to his new ability level, Shinra can establish an Adolla Link that allows him to see Hague’s final moments. Season 3 will, most likely, follow these events as Company 8 joins forces with the Tokyo Empire to combat the Evangelist’s might.
What Will Fire Force Season 3 Be About?
As one would imagine, the plot of Fire Force Season 3 has been kept under wraps and, well – fire! That being said, we’ve been given a little bit of information about what could happen for those who are curious.
In addition to introducing us to Shinra’s father, Zorome (who was first seen kissing Shinra’s mother), things will also apparently heat up with Hinawa Kujyou, another essential character revealed earlier this year. We’ll also see our main heroes attempt to defeat Ritoku Himuro – an individual responsible for causing a major tragedy during the show’s early episodes.
Will There Be New Characters?
One central question that fans have been wondering is if Fire Force Season 3 will introduce any new characters or include Mei Misono in any way. He’s absolved himself of his contracting duties by faking his death, not to mention he has a massive battle with Shinra set up…which would be amazing to see! Unfortunately, though, it appears as if fans are going to be left hanging here: while there will be plenty of new villains and we’ll get an update on some old ones, we probably won’t see anything about Mei – at least for now. His absence will be explained, though: instead of dying like many assumed would happen, he’ll disappear and leave behind a note for Shinra.
The Bottom Line
While we have a long time to wait before Season 3 premieres, this will be an anime worth watching! Like many others, it’s a spin on a classic shonen genre that makes use of the supernatural and even takes place in the modern day! Hopefully, we’ll see something about Fire Force Season 3 soon – but until then, keep an eye out for updates as they hit! We’ll keep you posted on any additional information as it becomes available, as well as when Fire Force premieres. In the meantime, though, be sure to jump onto Crunchyroll or Funimation NOW if you haven’t seen it yet!
